The Bloomfield College women's soccer team was shutout at Foley Field by the Caldwell University Cougars Tuesday evening in a, 5-0 setback. The loss dropped the Bears to 0-6 for the season and 0-3 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action. The visiting Cougars improved to 2-3-1 for the year and 2-1 in conference play.
 
The Cougars opened up the scoring in the fifth minute of play and found themselves up 4-0 going into the intermission break. The Bloomfield offense struggled as they took only three shots in the opening period of play.
 
Caldwell added a late goal in the second half that capped the scoring as the Bears switched freshman keeper, Adeline Argabrite (Bloomfield, N.J.) at the midway point and placed sophomore, Emira Sela (Staten Island. N.Y.) in the net for the final period.
 
Next up Bloomfield makes another home stand when they welcome the Lightning from Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday for a CACC soccer doubleheader. The match up is scheduled for a 1:30 pm start at Foley Field on September 24^th.
