BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The Bears women's basketball team remained unbeaten in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play with an, 85-46 decision Tuesday evening over Nyack College. Bloomfield saw outstanding performances from
Zhane Robinson (Newark, N.J.) and senior guard
Tianna Smith (Spring Valley, N.Y.) who combined for 38 points in the league win over the Warriors.

How It Happened
- The home team roared out to 16-4 lead within the first six minutes of the opening quarter. The Bears finished off the frame with a 7-2 spurt that gave them a 23-6 advantage heading into the 2nd quarter
- Halftime came and Bloomfield enjoyed a comfortable 43-20 lead as Robinson and Smith combines for twenty-four of the Bears points
- Smith erupted for 10 points coming out of the locker room as the Bears distanced themselves from the Warriors in the third quarter, 70-32 and cruised to the conference victory in the final period
- Deja McKenzie (Baltimore, M.D.) and Bobbi Floyd (Las Vegas, N.V.) came up big for Bloomfield off the bench as the out of state tandem put up 14 combined points and snagged 17 boards off the glass
Up Next: Bloomfield will travel across the border into the Empire State to face the Chargers of Dominican College. The Saturday afternoon CACC battle is slated to tip-off at 1:00 pm in Orangeburg, N.Y.
