PHILADELPHIA, P.A. – Junior
Kirsten Wilson (Beaver Falls, P.A.) powered the Bloomfield College softball team to their first sweep of the season as the Bears took two from the Griffins of Chestnut Hill Tuesday afternoon in the 'City of Brotherly Love'. On the mound, Wilson pitched a, 7-1 complete game one and at the plate homered twice including the game winner in an eight-inning 3-2 affair in the nightcap.
The Bears improved to 11-12 overall with the dual victories and evened their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) mark at 5-5. Chestnut Hill fell to 8-24 with the setbacks and an identical 5-5 record in league play.
