BRONXVILLE, NY - The Bears men's soccer team opened their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule on the road Tuesday afternoon and suffered a, 3-1 loss to Concordia College. The Clippers improved their overall record to 3-2, with a perfect 2-0 mark in league action while Bloomfield fell to 0-1 in conference play and 1-4 overall. 

The Bears netted a goal in the first half as Quincy Ball (Rotterdam, Netherlands) scored on a rebound from a Dilan Perrin (Mirimar, FL) shot in the 1st minute of the game. Bloomfield held their early lead into the 27th minute before Concordia found an equalizer. The home team knocked in another goal before the whistle and took a 2-1 advantage into the halftime break. 

The Clippers pushed one more goal past the Bears keeper,  Robert Kornel (Berlin, Germany) in the second half and solidified their second conference victory of the year. Kornel finished the day with three saves as his record fell to 1-4 in goal for Bloomfield.

Bloomfield returns to the confines of home for their next contest on Saturday, September 28th. The Tigers from Holy Family enter Foley Field for a 3:30 pm CACC showdown.
