ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – The Bloomfield College men's basketball team notched their fourth win in a row and third consecutive in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after a 70-57 outing against Dominican College Saturday afternoon. The Bears saw a monster game out of junior forward
Nick Davidson (Lumberton, N.J.), who set a new career-high with 28 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field and now sits just 10 points shy of 1,000 for his career. The Chargers celebrated their first 'Mike Coffey Game' in honor of their beloved Assistant Sports Information Director/Assistant Men's Basketball Coach who passed away earlier this year at the age of twenty-seven.

How It Happened
- Bloomfield posted only three starters in double figures as Marcus Fleming (Linden, N.J.) and Safee Abdus-Sabur (Newark, N.J.) chipped in eleven and ten points respectively to Davidson's huge afternoon
- The Bears second leading scorer, Rakwan Kelly (Newark, N.J.) collected just six points for the contest but snagged a team-high nine boards for the squad
- Bloomfield went into the break with a 34-28 lead after a first half where Davidson went to the free-throw line for 10 attempts and amassed 12 total points
- In the second half, the visitors grew their lead to as many as fourteen (46-32) before Dominican mounted a charge that brought them to within 52-50 with plenty of time on the clock (9:41)
- The Chargers ran out of steam down the stretch as they managed just seven points the rest of the way, including a scoreless drought across the final 3:10 of the game
- Davidson concluded the Bears scoring with an emphatic dunk to seal the 70-57 decision at the Hennessy Center
- Ahmid Williams (Monroe, N.J.) came up big for the visitors off the bench with a perfect shooting game, going 3-for-3 from the floor including 2-of-2 from beyond the arc
Up Next: Riding high on a four-game win streak, the Bears will set their sights on the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire University for a Friday evening regional battle on the road. The non-conference tilt is set to start at 7:00 pm in Manchester, N.H.
