FLUSHING, NY – The Bears traveled on the road Thanksgiving Eve and fell, 74-66 in a non-conference, regional battle with the Knights from Queens College. Bloomfield dropped to 0-4 on the season while the hosts evened their record at 2-2 after Wednesday afternoon's match.
 
Queens took control with a 21-14 1^st Quarter and never looked back, keeping the Bears trailing for most of the game. The visitors shot under 40.0 percent for the third time this season and couldn't find the offensive firepower to catch up to the Knights. Bloomfield managed to pull within six (72-66) with 1:05 to go in the game but Queens shut the door as Merrick Rowland finished the day with 32 points.
 
Bobbi Floyd (Las Vegas, NV) and Dayanni Cochran (Las Vegas, NV) along with sophomore Ilysia Lewis (Baltimore, MD) each recorded twelve points for the game while Aanise Barnes (Newark, NJ) saw her best day as a Bear with 10 points in the setback.
 
Bloomfield will rest briefly for the Thanksgiving holiday and then jump back into action Saturday, November 25^th as they welcome Molloy College into the Den. The fifth consecutive non-conference matchup for the Bears is set for a 12:00 pm start against the Lions.
