How It Happened
- Smith buried a three-pointer at the 3:58 minute mark to put the Bears up 13-7 in the first quarter before the home team settled in for a 23-11 advantage at the periods end
- The second quarter saw Bloomfield stretch the lead to as much as eighteen (32-14) before the Eagles cut into their deficit and went into the locker room down 36-21
- The Bears defense held Post University to 10 points in the 2nd quarter, as smith amassed 24 points in the first half of play
- Zhane Robinson (Newark, N.J.) picked up 9 points in the victory followed by freshman Jordynn Jones (Allentown, P.A.) who went 3-for-5 from the field for 8 points off the bench
- Brianna Carrington (Baltimore, M.D.) and Bobbi Floyd (Las Vegas, N.V.) came up big for Bloomfield on the glass as they each snagged eight boards
