CACC Champ Georgian Court Earns #6 Seed for 2019 NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball East Region Tournament

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 26, 2019) -- The Georgian Court University women's volleyball team earned the No. 6 seed in next week's NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball East Region Tourament, as announced on Monday night by the NCAA. The Lions, who claimed the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Volleyball Championship on Sunday with a 3-1 win over Holy Family University, will take on third-seeded Bridgeport on Thursday, Dec. 5, at Molloy College in New York.

GCU will be making its sixth appearance in the NCAA Tournament in program history. Georgian Court and Holy Family both qualified for the NCAA Regional Tournament, as the Tigers received the No. 7 seed as an at-large entry.
