WATERBURY, Conn. (November 15, 2019) -- For the second round in a row chalk held firm as the top-two seeds -- Jefferson and Georgian Court University -- were victorious in Friday's semifinals, and will square off in Sunday's final of the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer Championship at LaMoy Field on the Post University campus in Waterbury, Conn.

Top-seeded Jefferson opened the day with a 1-0 shutout over fourth-seeded Goldey-Beacom College, and second-seeded GCU capped the day with a 2-0 victory over third-seeded and defending CACC Champion Caldwell University. Jefferson and Georgian Court will be meeting for the second time in the last 11 days, as the Rams handed the Lions 4-0 setback back on Nov. 6, as that victory put Jefferson over the top in winning the CACC regular season crown.
