USciences & Chestnut Hill Ranked in 2018-19 WBCA Division II Academic Top-25 Honor Roll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 25, 2019) -- University of the Sciences and Chestnut Hill College on Thursday were honored by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) by being named to the Division II Academic Top-25 Team Honor Roll.

USciences, which claimed the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division Regular Season Championship, ranked 15th in the nation with a team-wide grade point average of 3.63. The Devils, who are led by Head Coach Jackie Hartzell, was the highest ranked East Region team in the poll.

Chestnut Hill followed two places back in 17th with a team mark of 3.626. The Griffins are led by Head Coach Mike West.

The CACC led all three East Region conferences (CACC, ECC, NE10) with the most teams on the Honor Roll.
