Over 100 Student-Athletes Named to 2020-21 CACC Softball All-Academic Team

LIST OF HONOREES: 2020-21 CACC SOFTBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 15, 2021) -- More than 100 student-athletes -- 104 in total -- on Thursday were named to the 2020-21 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 104 honorees represent all 14 CACC member institutions that have a varsity program in the sport.

Post University led the way with 16 honorees, including Bridget Betley's team-best 3.98 cumulative undergraduate grade point average in her major of accounting. University of the Sciences was next with 14 student-athletes being recognized, including Keiya Moncilovich, who had the top GPA on her squad with a 3.97 in physical therapy. Thomas Jefferson University was the other team with double-figure honorees, as 12 Rams made the academic team. The highest Jefferson GPA belonged to both Katelyn Stys and Julia Heine, as the duo each had 3.91 marks.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
♦ Nineteen (19) of the honorees earned GPAs of 3.90 or higher.

♦ Twenty-eight (28) of the honorees made the CACC Softball All-Academic Team for the second time.

♦ Fourteen (14) of the honorees made the All-Academic squad for at least the third time.
