2023 CACC MTEN CHAMPIONSHIP PHOTO ALBUM

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (April 21, 2023) – The Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis team (20-4) made it two titles in a row via its 4-0 triumph over Chestnut Hill College on Friday in the championship final of the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament. The Rams also locked up the league's automatic bid to next weekend's NCAA Division II East Region Tournament. The national bracket will be announced on Monday, April 24^th at 8 p.m. on NCAA.com(.)
 
Jefferson took the doubles point after victories at the second flight by Hannibal Borg and Elliot Jarosz (6-3) and the first spot by German Lopez Andujar and Hubert Theriault (6-3). Jules Thibault defeated his opponent at sixth singles, 6-1, 6-1, to put the Rams ahead 2-0.
 
After a 6-4 win in set one, Borg won his second set, coming out on top 6-1 and giving Jefferson a 3-0 lead. Enrique Soto Ballester then provided the championship-clinching point, earning a 6-3, 6-3 decision at the fourth position.
