Fifty Student-Athletes Named to 2020-21 CACC Men's Soccer All-Academic Team

LIST OF HONOREES: 2020-21 CACC MEN'S SOCCER ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 14, 2021) -- Fifty (50) student-athletes on Wednesday were named to the 2020-21 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 50 honorees represent 12 of the 13 CACC member institutions that have a varsity program in the sport.

Georgian Court University led the way with 11 honorees, including Gianluca Cersosimo's team-best 3.96 cumulative grade point average in his major of finance. Post University was next with eight student-athletes being recognized, including Fernando Duque Gonzalez, who had the top GPA on his squad with a 3.94 in sport management. 

Wilmington University's Jackson Brandwene led the way on the all-academic squad with a perfect 4.0 GPA in his major of legal studies.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
♦ Eleven (11) of the honorees earned GPAs of 3.90 or higher.

♦ Eleven (11) of the honorees made the CACC Men's Soccer All-Academic Team for the second time.

♦ Three of the honorees made the All-Academic squad for the third time.
