Four CACC Standouts Named 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 6, 2019) -- Four Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) men's soccer standouts this week were named 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, as announced by the national organization of sports information directors. The four that were featured included a trio from Wilmington University -- Lorne Bickley, Dimitrios Topouzlis, Joe Bell -- and Paris Bruhn from Chestnut Hill College.

Bickley and Topouzlis were named to the second team, while both Bell and Bruhn were placed on the third team. All four individuals were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team last month as the regular season concluded.

To be eligible for the Academic All-America Team, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. The cumulative grade-point average may NOT be rounded up to 3.30. A student-athlete must also be a first-team all-district honoree, as voted on by CoSIDA members.
