Five Men's Soccer Standouts Named to 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District I Team

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 20, 2019) -- Five Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) men's soccer standouts were recently recognized as 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District I First-Team honores, as announced by the national organization of sports information directors. The nominating and voting for the academic was conducted by the sports information directors throughout the East Region in NCAA Division II.

The five honorees were the most for any conference in the East Region, which also features the East Coast Conference and the Northeast-10 Conference. All five honorees will now move on for consideration for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team, which will be announced later this fall.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. The cumulative grade-point average may NOT be rounded up to 3.30.


ABOUT THE CACC
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is an NCAA Division II Conference composed of 14 institutions in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The member institutions are Bloomfield College, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Concordia (N.Y.) College, Dominican (N.Y.)
