PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (December 31, 2018) -- Through the coordination of Holy Family University men's soccer head coach Georg Montag (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan), the Tigers helped collect 55 winter coats to help assist the 'Coats for Chester' program spearheaded by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer (SEPA) Hall of Fame.

For two months (Oct.-Nov.), SEPA collected donated winter coats throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania.  Earlier this month the organization delivered the coats to three social service organizations in Chester and the St. Veronica Grade School in Philadelphia, who distributed to needy families.  Members of SEPA Soccer Hall of Fame, along with volunteers from various soccer organizations, helped with the collecting and distributing of the coats.

Holy Family men's soccer has participated in the 'Coats for Chester' program annually since 2014.
