CACC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honorees (4-15-24)

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

James Napoli (Bridgeport) - Totaled 16 points in a 2-0 week on eight goals and eight assists to help the Purple Knights even their conference record at 3-3. Also caused a trio of turnovers. Went for six goals and a pair of assists in a win over Felician. Had two markers and six helpers in a victory over Caldwell. 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Jake Ballerini (Chestnut Hill) - Scored the opening goal of the fourth quarter versus Post to snap a 7-7 tie as CHC would never relinquish the lead the rest of the way in a 10-9 victory. Added a pair of assists in the victory as well.  

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Tyler Quinn (Wilmington) - Caused a trio of turnovers in a 17-14 win over Georgian Court to help keep WilmU undefeated in league play and gain sole possession of first place in the CACC. Also scooped up a pair of grounders in a win over Caldwell as WilmU went 2-0 during the week. 

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

Peter Nazario (Bridgeport) - Turned aside 27 of 38 shots faced in a 2-0 week in goal. Posted a 71.1% save percentage and a 6.59 goals against average. 

HONOR ROLL 

Tallen Smith (Georgian Court) - Had 10 points, eight goals and two assists, and six ground balls collected in a 1-1 week. 
Finn Crocker (Felician) - Scored seven goals and collected five ground balls in a 1-1 week. 
Tim Keefe (Post) - Had 12 points, five goals, seven assists, three ground balls and three caused turnovers for Post in a 1-1 week. 
Sam Slater (Chestnut Hill) - Scored three goals and collected four ground balls in the Griffins’ win over Post. 
Jayden Paladino (Caldwell) - Scored twice and had seven assists over two games. 
Miles Crouse (Wilmington) - Had six goals and six assists as well as seven ground balls in a 2-0 week.
