Trio of CACC Men's Lacrosse Standouts Named Scholar All-Americans by USILA

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 2, 2019) -- Three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) men's lacrosse standouts recently were named 2019 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Scholar All-Americans, as announced by the national organization. The trio included Chestnut Hill College's John Bennett and Connor Crawford, and Georgian Court University's Ryder Verdoni. The Scholar All-America team is sponsored by Warrior and New Balance.

All three student-athletes are seniors and are majoring in some form of biology. Bennett is a bio major emphasizing in chemistry, while Crawford is a molecular biology major. Verdoni is majoring in biology.

Verdoni helped guide the Lions to their second-straight CACC Championship in 2019, while Bennett and Crawford each helped lead the Griffins to the conference's regular season crown and a berth in the championship final.
