Field is Set for 2019 CACC Men's Lacrosse Championship; CHC Captures No. 1 Seed with Regular Season Title

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 28, 2019) -- Chestnut Hill College will enter the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Lacrosse Championship as the No. 1 seed after going 5-0 during the conference slate and winning the league's regular season championship. The official bracket was released Sunday night after the conclusion of the regular season.

The Griffins will get the postseason underway in the semifinals on Thursday at noon, when they take on fourth-seeded Dominican College. The day's second semifinal will be staged at 3 p.m., between second-seeded Georgian Court University and third-seeded Wilmington University. The tournament will take place on the GCU Turf Field on the campus of Georgian Court in Lakewood, N.J. The men's lacrosse tournament will be one of five championships being part of the CACC Spring Championship Festival at GCU, which will be held May 2-5.

Thursday's two semifinal winners will square off for the CACC crown on Saturday at noon. Georgian Court is the defending conference champion, as the Lions defeated Chestnut Hill in a thrilling 2018 final in Lakewood.
