POST CLAIMS THIRD STRAIGHT CACC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

MIDDLETOWN, DE - Freshman David McGregor fired a four-under-par 67 today to lead Post University to its third consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship at Back Creek Golf Club in Middletown, DE. McGregor, who hails from Helensburgh, Scotland, was the Individual Medalist and named CACC Rookie of the Year after carding a two-round total of 142 (75, 67). His second round score of 67 was the lowest of the tournament. Dominican College head coach Wayne Mackey garnered Coach of the Year accolades, while Nyack College was handed the annual Team Sportsmanship Award.

For winning the title, Post has earned the CACC's automatic bid into the 2008 NCAA Northeast Region Championship, which will be played on Monday-Wednesday, May 5-7, here at Back Creek. Post shot a 303 in Monday's first round and followed with a 298 for a total of 601.
