Post's Rosario Missiti Named NCBWA Division II East Region Hitter of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 9, 2019) -- Post University baseball standout Rosario Missiti on Tuesday was named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II East Region Hitter of the Week.

Missiti, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week, earned his second-straight conference weekly accolade, as he helped the Eagles go 3-1 on the week batting .563 with three home runs and 13 RBI.  Rosario had hits in all four games on the week going 9-for-16 with six runs scored plus he slugged 1.250 and had an on-base percentage of .765.

In a sweep over regionally-ranked Wilmington University over the weekend, Rosario batted .500 (4-for-8) with a homer, three RBI and three runs scored.
