NEW HAVEN, Conn. (May 12, 2017) -- The 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Championship Final between fourth-seeded Chestnut Hill College and sixth-seeded Dominican College has been moved up to a 9 a.m. first pitch on Saturday due to the inclement weather expected to hit the Waterbury area during the afternoon. The CACC Digital Network will webcast the game live beginning with a pre-game show at 8:50 a.m.

Dominican enters Saturday's final game needing just one win to lock up the conference championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament. Chestnut Hill battled back with a 5-3 win versus Wilmington University on Friday to avoid elimination and punch its ticket to the final. The Griffins would have to defeat the Chargers twice to raise the CACC Championship Trophy.
