NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The 2013 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Championship Tournament pairings have been determined.  Wilmington University has captured the CACC Baseball Regular Season Title and the top seed for the upcoming tournament after finishing with a 17-3 mark.  Dominican College will be the second seed in the tournament after completing the regular season with a 16-4 record.  Wilmington and Dominican receive a bye through the tournament's first round.

The CACC Baseball Tournament will commence on Tuesday, May 7 with a pair of single elimination contests.  #3 seed Concordia College (13-7) will host the #6 seed Chestnut Hill College at 2pm.  The Griffins and #5 seed Felician College finished the regular season tied with a 10-10 mark.  However, the tie between the two teams was broken in the comparison during the season against Concordia.  The Falcons were 2-0 while Chestnut Hill was 0-2.  Felician will travel to #4 seed Philadelphia University who finished the regular season with a 12-8 effort.  The game is slated to start at 2pm.

The two winners of the Tuesday games will advance to the final four double-elimination tournament hosted by Wilmington.  Thursday, May 9 will be the date for the next two games of the tournament at Wilson Stadium on the WU campus.  Game One will feature #1 Wilmington versus the winner of the Philadelphia/Felician tilt at 12 noon.  At 3pm, Game Two will pair the Concordia/Chestnut Hill winner with #2 Dominican.

The remainder of the tournament will then advance to Frawley Stadium.  Friday, May 10 will feature three games (12 noon, 3pm and 6pm), while Saturday, May 11 will feature the final games and a champion will be crowned.
