CACC Notes

Bloomfield - In a 4-1 week for the Deacons, Bloomfield received solid outings from Sean Stimpfel, Matt Snyder, and Steve Godowski. Jon Walsh closed out two games in the week, recording his 4th save of the season Tuesday against Nyack. Clutch hitting from Jonattan Fernandez (2 HR's againstUSP), Ricky Maldonado (game winning triple over WilmU), Alex Sepulveda (2 run double over WilmU), and Chris Rosa (.412 BA) played large roles in the Deacons' victories all week.

Caldwell - The Cougars scored 17 runs on 17 hits in a 17-1 victory over Philadelphia Apr. 19. The performance marked the highest single-game run total for the Cougars since a 22-7 win over Molloy in the 2007 season opener. Junior Adric Saxon had three doubles and a home run while driving in six runs and scoring five against the Rams.

Felician - Senior 3B Dave Schoer has become the fifth player in the 10-year history of the program to score 100 career runs. He has exactly 100 in 168 games. Senior RF Mike Libretta became the 15th member of Felician's 100-hit club in his team's Apr. 13 loss at Philadelphia U. Junior SS Alex Del Valle homered in both ends of a doubleheader at USP on Sunday, a feat fellow Miamian Frank Quintana also accomplished for the Golden Falcons at Richie Ashburn Field two years ago.

Philadelphia - The Rams look to stop a recent four game skid with seven CACC games coming this week, with two games against University of the Sciences, three against Nyack College and two against Felician College.
