Dominican College and its Board of Trustees are pleased to announce that Kevin M. Hallinan will be celebrated at a reception in his honor, held on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Hilton Woodcliff Lake in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

Mr. Hallinan is the Executive Vice President of Royal Diamond Security International. Prior to forming Royal Diamond with his brother, he served for over 20 years as the Senior Vice President of Security and Facility Management for Major League Baseball. In this role, Mr. Hallinan worked with individual ball clubs to create a security system that included specially trained security agents at every ballpark. He worked to give stadium managers the tools they needed to ensure each fan, regardless of age, would find the stadiums fun and comfortable. He also helped to establish a successful career development program for players entering the big leagues.

He has been a baseball fan since he was 8 years old, but before he worked in baseball, he had a variety of experiences that shaped him into the dynamic man he is. He served as a New York City Police Officer, earned a Sociology degree from Fordham, graduated from the FBI National Academy, ran the first FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, and put together a television series called "Police File".

Mr. Hallinan has been an active participant in the Dominican College Hennessy Center expansion project. He has also volunteered his time and expertise as the Chairman of the TEAM Coalition - a national organization responsible for alcohol management programs, as a member of the Safety and Security Task Force, as a member of the Professional Sports Security Group, as a committee member of New York State Policy Study Committee on Terrorism, and as the Co-Chairman of the Rookie Career Development Program.

Dominican College is pleased to salute an individual whose commitment to community and compassionate service has shaped the lives of so many. For more information about the 37th Annual Dominican College Awards Ceremony or to make a reservation, please call Susan Sterling-Amorusi at (845) 848-7406.
