BLOOMFIELD, NJ – In a second-straight game of the classic, 'tale of two halves' saga, the Bears men's basketball team put up a fiery 2
nd half display to secure an, 88-70 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory over Concordia College. The Tuesday evening showdown in 'The Den' upped Bloomfield's overall record to 17-4 and 12-1 in conference play.
The win over the Clippers (8-14, 2-11 CACC) also cemented Bloomfield's 10
th consecutive playoff birth into the league's post-season tournament.
The Bears offensive game plan across the last two games has been share the ball as yet again five Bloomfield players finished in double-figures. The East Region's 6
th ranked team saw their season scoring leader,
Nick Davidson (Lumberton, NJ) drop a game-high 18 points. Junior,
Safee Abdus-Sabur (West Orange, NJ) continued to shine in his newfound role in the starting rotation for the Bears with 15 points.
