Men's Tennis Drops First Match Against District of Columbia
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis (0-1) began their year on the road, as they would fall 4-3 to the University of the District of Columbia in Friday afternoon competition.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rams would begin their doubles with Enrique Soto Ballester and Hannibal Borg earning the victory in the first doubles spot 6-0. District of Columbia would tie it up as they'd win in the second doubles spot.
After the Firebirds earned a point in the first singles spot, Borg would take the second singles matchup 6-3, 6-2. Antonio Mateos Melenchon would win in the fourth singles match 6-4, 6-3, but the District of Columbia would earn wins in the first, third, and fifth spot to earn the 4-3 win.
