- The teams traded goals early in the third, with Tyler Shrewsbury and Rusty Stone tallying for AIC, before the Yellow Jackets went on a run of three goals in under a minute. Andrew Boyer, Clark Marchand, and Stephen Stratton pulled AIC within two. Unfortunately, the Eagles snagged two late strikes to go up 10-6 into the final frame.
- AIC pushed in the fourth, with goals by Seamus Hayes, Boyer, and Stratton, but the Eagles hung on to earn the 14-9 victory.
