Box Score

The Eagles (4-6) traveled to New York to take on a formidable out-of-conference opponent LIU Post (7-2) of the ECC

LIU Post struck first when Tom Stenberg collected a pass from the middle of the box and tapped it home with his left foot. 

With the score 1-0 in the first half, Post drew a foul and a free kick close to the top of the box. Sergio Diaz (Madrid, Spain) took care of the rest, rocketing a shot left of the goalie and into the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1 going in halftime. 

LIU Post came out of the half and immediately scored to go up 2-1. 

Post continued to fight and create chances in the offensive half. Freshman Phillimon Bedard-Khalid played well attacking and creating chances off the left side. Bedard finished the game 3 shots, all of which were on goal. 

LIU Post would go on to score one more goal to bring the score to 3-1, which is how the game ended. 

The Eagles out-shot LIU Post 11-8 and put more shots on goal, 6-4. 

Next up for the Eagles is a home matchup against CACC opponent Wilmington University at 2:30 p.m.
