STAC Men's Lacrosse Records First Victory of 2020 Season, 14-10 at Felician

The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's Lacrosse team picked up their first victory of the 2020 season on Tuesday evening, a 14-10 triumph at Felician University.

Tyler Senatore lit the lamp on five occasions for the Spartans, while Thomas Chiapperino and Anthony Irizarry popped in three goals each. Tom Solimando (2 goals) and Timothy Zimnoch (1 goal) also contributed to the scoring. Ryan Guild (W, 1-2) got the start between the pipes for STAC and made 10 saves on 20 shots faced.

The Golden Falcons offense was led by Robert Grasso with 5 goals, followed up by Anthony Mechkowski and Ausar Wright with 2 goals each. Anthony Hanratty also contributed to the scoring with a goal as well. Goalie Pat Hemmer took the loss for Felician, making 21 saves. 

Shots for the game were 49 (35 on goal) for STAC and 28 (20 on goal) for Felician.

St. Thomas Aquinas (1-2) travels to Post University (CT) on Saturday for an afternoon affair with the Eagles. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 1pm.
