Caldwell sneaks past men's lacrosse
CALDWELL, New Jersey - The American International College men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-5 decision at Caldwell University on Sunday, February 27.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Cougars jumped out to a 4-0 first quarter lead as Kevin Albright scored two goals and set up another.
- AIC got on the board in the second on an extra man opportunity, as Stephen Stratton struck at 6:04. However, the Cougars led 6-1 at the break.
- Caldwell scored the first goal of the second half, but Rusty Stone countered it just 22 seconds later. Albright struck again in response, only to have Hunter Terlik set up Sean Soper for a tally. After three, the Cougars lead was 12-3.
- Both teams scored twice in the final frame, with Jason Vickery and Terlik striking as the Cougars earned the 14-5 win.
FACE-OFF FUN:
- AIC went 13-9 on faceoffs on the day, led by a 7-for-10 showing by Nick Mackay.
- The duo of Mackay and Clark Marchand is currently 67.6 percent on the season, combining to win 25 of the first 37 faceoffs in 2022.
