Men's Tennis Opens Spring Season with a Defeat to Saint Joseph's
PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis team (2-2) began their spring season at Legacy Tennis Courts where they fell to Saint Joseph's University (3-3) this Saturday evening.
WHAT HAPPENED
Saint Joseph's took the first two doubles victories and earning the point win. Antoni Mateos Melenchan and Jules Thibault won the third doubles match, but the Hawks already secured the point lead.
Johary Rabetrano and Mateos Melenchan had a win in singles to get Jefferson ahead, and Mario Antonio got a victory to have the Rams up 3-2. But the Hawks got wins in the first and second spots to get the win for Saint Joseph's.
